NewGen Special Screening is a series of screenings of the winning films and selected works of the NewGen Berlin Chinese Youth Film Festival in various European countries. With the program of NewGen, which focuses on the young filmmakers, we hope to create more opportunities for their works to be seen and heard. For them, the NewGen Special Screening would be a sustainable and encouraging stage.

If the festival’s purpose is to reflect filmmakers’ attitudes and express the “Speak up” of filmmakers, then the Special Screening is a kind of “Echo” that we expect to hear. Using film as a medium to communicate and share with the audiences, we hope to explore more possibilities ——about the film, the world, and life.
