About us
『ACCE』
Alliance Cinéaste Chine-Europe (ACCE) was founded in Paris in 2018.
Since its establishment, the Alliance has successfully implemented several international projects concentrating on filmmakers, promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and French filmmakers as well as between filmmakers from other parts of Asia and Europe.
ACCE serves as a bridge between filmmakers, industry, and the audience. We encourage diverse dialogue and communication among filmmakers, through film festivals, forums, exchange visits, international workshops, and other initiatives.
We unite the power of filmmakers and look forward to communicating with the world.
『NewGen』Berlin :
NewGen stands for the new generation. The Berlin NewGen Chinese Film Festival was launched by a group of young filmmakers and amateurs based in Europe, which is aimed at discovering a new generation of filmmakers who can present the future of Chinese films and encourage the ambitious creation which emerge the Sino-culture and society. By building a platform for cultural exchange across national borders, the festival helps the development of Chinese films.
In the winter of 2022, NewGen officially joins ACCE as one of the major members and responsible team in Germany. We have more partners on the road to unite the energy of filmmakers in pursuit of their dreams.
The NewGen will be an essential part of the future programmes of ACCE for young filmmakers, which aims at helping them build up more high-quality projects.
